About the Founder:
As a daughter, wife, and mother from a traditional Marwari family, Shubhda Vaid's life took a profound turn at 35 when certain experiences of light and energy led her to her Guru- an enlightened Master- Santoshji Sachdeva. This meeting culminated in a beautiful Guru -disciple relationship and led to her awakening. She has had the privilege of translating three of her Guru's books on Kundalini Yoga from English to Hindi and has penned down a book called 'Guru, Gratitude & Grace', wherein she talks about the transformational journey that she has gone through.
Inspiration for Grace Occasions:
In August 2011, while navigating through life's challenges, she was commanded by her Guru to start an entrepreneurial venture showcasing her creativity. Since it was started by Guru's grace, it was named Grace Occasions. Over the years, Guruji’s continuous guidance and support has made Grace Occasions go from strength to strength.

Santushti Retreat- Beyond Business
Over the years, Shubhda was fortunate enough to receive continuous guidance and counselling from her Guru as she navigated through different relationships. This helped her understand the intricacies of the human psyche and the need for love, acceptance and appreciation.
Her desire to share this valuable knowledge and understandings of life with many in the world, in natural surroundings and homely atmosphere led her to search for a piece of land on the outskirts of Mumbai, where she could build a retreat centre. Soon, she found herself on the spot that she had envisioned in meditation. Here, a sacred home was built with the support of divine providence and was named Santushti Retreat, where she holds meditational retreats called H.E.A.L. and Heart2heart.
